Nick Hapiak Triumphs at Las Vegas
The Nocturnal NASCAR series rolled into the Nevada desert this week for a high-speed showdown on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway 1.5-mile oval. While the racing was fierce and the "paint swapping" was constant, the night began with a moment of unity and respect that transcended the virtual track.
A Salute to the Kight Family
Before the roar of the engines filled the air, the field gathered for a powerful four-wide salute in memory of Wendy Anne Kight, mother of driver Donny Kight. The entire BAC community sends our deepest thoughts and prayers to the Kight family; every lap turned tonight was in her honor.
The Race: From Pole Position to Victory Lane
For the second week in a row, Hunter Senior proved he is the king of qualifying, clinching the PRS Setup Shop Pole Award. However, as soon as the green flag dropped, the battle for the lead became a revolving door of talent.
The 84-lap thriller saw 8 lead changes and a series of cautions that kept the field bunched and the nerves frayed:
Lap 2: Jared Skinner made an early statement, challenging teammate Hunter Senior and holding the lead until Lap 6.
Lap 6: Joshua Adams surged to the front, commanding the field for a stout 18-lap stint.
Lap 24: Nick Hapiak made his move. Once he claimed the top spot, he looked nearly unstoppable—until the first caution on Lap 30 changed the complexion of the race.
Chaos and Strategy
As the saying goes, "cautions breed cautions." Mid-to-late race restarts saw three and four-wide action that left several drivers scrambling for repairs. Brett Meyers, Donny Kight, Austin Hobert, Justin Fisher, Bryce Keegan, and Terry Vincent all survived heavy contact to fight back into contention.
Strategy also played a massive role. Tyler Smith and Michael Prince took massive gambles, staying out on old tires to prioritize track position. The gamble paid off for Prince, who not only led laps but also secured the Fastest Lap of the Race award in his #31 machine.
Hapiak Seals the Deal
Despite the strategic shuffles, Nick Hapiak proved he had the car to beat. On Lap 75, Hapiak reclaimed the lead for the final time. He held off a hard-charging pack to park his #06 in Sick Trophies Victory Lane, marking his first win of the season and a total of 25 laps led.

Season 2 Kicks Off with a Bang: Nocturnal NASCAR Takes on Daytona!
The lights were bright, the engines were loud, and the tension was palpable as Nocturnal NASCAR officially launched Season 2 at the iconic Daytona International Speedway. If this first event is any indication of what’s to come, sim racing fans are in for a wild ride.
From high-speed qualifying to a "Big One" in the final turn, here is the full breakdown of how the season opener unfolded.
The Road to the Main: Qualifying & Duels
The night began with drivers hunting for pure speed.
The PRS Setup Shop Pole Award: Josh Adams (#26) proved to be the fastest man on campus, laying down a blistering 2-lap qualifying run. By clinching the Pole, Adams bypassed the chaos of the Duels, securing his spot at the front of the Feature grid.
The Duels: With the rest of the field fighting for position, two 10-lap sprint races determined the starting order. Donald Kight (#66) flexed his muscles to take the win in Duel #1, while Spencer Moody (#41) showcased expert drafting to claim Duel #2.
Feature Recap: 50 Laps of High-Stakes Drafting
The 50-lap Main Event was a tactical chess match at 200 mph. The pack remained relatively disciplined early on, with the first caution not waving until Lap 28. However, once that first yellow flew, the intensity shifted.
Donald Kight was the dominant force for the majority of the night. Commanding the draft with precision, he led a staggering 28 laps, making him the clear favorite as the laps ticked down. But at Daytona, no lead is ever safe.
A string of late-race cautions shuffled the running order and set the stage for a dramatic, white-knuckle finish.
The Final Turn Chaos
As the field thundered toward the checkered flag, disaster struck in the final corner. A massive multi-car incident swept up several front-runners, including Austin Hobert, Donald Kight, Jared Skinner, Nick Hapiak, and Jarett Bolton.
Emerging from the smoke and flying debris like a rocket, Jaymin Bernhardt (#12) threaded the needle to take the checkered flag! Bernhardt becomes the first driver of Season 2 to celebrate in "Sick Trophies Victory Lane."
Noteworthy Performances
Hard Charger: While Bernhardt took the glory, Colin Guyer (#11) and Craig Martin (#22) navigated the final-lap carnage perfectly to round out the podium.
The Speedster: Bryce Keegan (#21) may have finished 5th, but he officially clocked the Fastest Lap of the Race, proving he has the raw speed to contend all season long.
Clean Air: Despite the late-race heartbreak, Donald Kight’s 28 laps led served notice to the rest of the league that the #66 is the car to beat.

The engines are roaring and the grid is set. This January, the NNRL Truck Series returns for an 18-race gauntlet that will test the grit, gear, and guts of the best sim racers in the business. From the high-banked chaos of superspeedways to the door-banging intensity of short tracks, Season 2 is designed to crown only the most versatile champion.
The Rivalry Rekindled
2025 gave us a championship battle for the ages. Andy Lewis (6 wins) and Bryce Keegan (4 wins) traded paint and trophies all year long. With both titans returning for 2026, the question on everyone’s mind is: Can anyone break their stranglehold on the winner’s circle?
The New Challengers
The field has expanded to 20 drivers, including 11 hungry new faces looking to upset the established order. Two names from SDRL are already sending ripples through the paddock:
Michael Prince: The SDRL Runner-up and Cup Series veteran makes his highly anticipated debut at Daytona.
“Scary” Terry Vincent: Known for raw speed, Vincent is expected to be a front-runner from Green Flag to Checkered.
The Team to Watch: Juicy Spydr
There’s a new powerhouse in town. Juicy Spydr has entered the fray with a staggering average iRating of 3226. After sweeping the last five recruitment races, they aren’t just here to compete—they’re here to take over.
